Yesterday we were lucky enough to hang out at the CT Sheep & Wool Festival in Vernon, CT.  It’s a little odd to see so much wool being worn on what was up to that point the hottest day of the year (today beat yesterday), but it still was very fun.  We saw the working sheep dogs, took an ox cart ride and got to talk to a bunch of folks in the “industry” here in Connecticut.

Of note, is that we’ve got a lead on an Angora wether (a male goat), to possibly bring to the farm for brush clearing (oh, and the fiber, too).  Also of note, I went to a sheep festival and didn’t take any pictures of sheep.  Sry.  ;-)
