Our farm standards

We’ve just posted our farm standards regarding animal care. We consider it a work in progress. It provides information for anyone who might want to buy from us, but more importantly any time you buy meat you should ask yourself these questions:
- Where did the animal come from?
- What did it eat?
- What medications and vaccinations was it given?
- How was it treated?
- What was its quality of life?
- Did it have access to the outdoors?
We’re not claiming to be purists or perfect. Even the meat we eat doesn’t meet our standards 100% of the time (that’s the meat we don’t raise), but it does give us something to shoot for.
