Week of 03/08/2009 at Terrabyte Farm

We have a lot to do this week. On our agenda we have:

• Finish fencing in back-portion of property (by Jamie’s brother and his friend).
• Build pigs new paddock and move them.
• Build paddock for sheep and cows.
• Start seeds (38 varieties).
• Finish making soap (one batch left).
• Butcher six chickens and dress for freezer.
• Finalize and purchase rabbit/chicken/garden shed.
• Make home for baby chicks to arrive on Friday.
• Celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary.
• Normal daily animal care: feeding and watering chickens, rabbits, pigs, turkeys.
• Work, eat, sleep, play, clean, and all of the other ordinary and extraordinary tasks life throws our way.
